Cylindrical drum cabinet in Biedermeier style. The body is veneered in burr birch; the wood shows a warm golden-brown tone with a densely speckled, cloudy grain that extends around the entire curve.

The round door follows the curvature of the body and closes flush. A bronze hand with a hook clasp serves as the door opener. Inside there is one shelf.

The base is set off by an ebonized black bead molding, which contrasts with the light veneer tone and visually separates the body from the base.

The top plate is made of Petit Granit Belge — a Belgian limestone which, despite its name, is not granite. It originated from fossil-bearing deposits; when polished, the dark gray surface shows finely distributed light fossil inclusions. The stone has been quarried in Belgium for centuries and was traditionally sought after for buildings and high-quality furniture tops.

The cabinet is a high-quality piece from around 1950 and is ready for living spaces.
