Large Gothic architectural elements – authentic wooden church fragments, 19th century
These exceptional, large-scale Gothic elements likely date from the 19th century and were originally used as decorative tracery infill within a religious building. The characteristic quatrefoil and cross motifs, combined with the deeply elaborate X-structure, clearly point to the Neo-Gothic architectural phase, which regained importance in Europe from the mid-19th century onwards.
Made from solid wood and hand-carved, the elements display an impressive depth and patina: traces of time, abrasion, slight irregularities and the warm, golden-brown surface combine to create precisely the authenticity that collectors and interior designers are looking for today.
Due to their size, the elements are not only suitable as collector's items, but also perfect for interior projects – for example as wall panels, room dividers, headboards, backdrop elements or as impressive combinations of several modules.
