Empire chest of drawers around 1820, Austria, ebonized pear wood, partially gilded caryatids
The original brass fittings with a large historical background show GEBHARD LEBERECHT VON BLÜCHER (Marshal Forward) on the left and HV WELLINGTON (Duke of Wellington) on the right, in the middle a gallery with flames and the inscription "BELL ALLIANC" which indicates the victory against Napoleon on June 18, 1815 leaves. The chest of drawers is in good original condition, but has not been refurbished, only the polish has been refreshed a bit, the chest of drawers has minor stress cracks and a slight deformation on the right side of the cover plate.
Depending on customer requirements, a complete refurbishment is possible.
