Biedermeier side table with lyre-shaped base. The two side lyres are made of solid cherry wood and are fitted with string rods. They are connected by a crossbar and terminate in curved feet.

The body has a drawer; the top and frame are cherry veneered. An ebonized rhombus serves as the key escutcheon, and an ebonized profile forms the lower finish of the body. There is an age-related veneer repair on the top.

Lock and key are original. The table has been restored, built up with shellac, and is ready for use.
